RECRUITING

Jays players who want the opportunity to play at the collegiate level must have recruiting as a part of their overall career plan. The recruiting landscape has changed over the years, especially at the Division I level. With high school baseball, the NIL, and Transfer Portal, college coaches have multiple avenues to see and recruit players at all levels. Players across the country and worldwide are competing for the same scholarships and roster spots.

In 2022-2023 there were 511,000+ High School Baseball Players. There were 63,000+ College Baseball Players. That number equates to 12% of high school players that move on to play at the college level. How players separate themselves is a key factor to having the opportunity to play at the next level.

Jays Baseball will provide resources and expertise in the recruiting process. Player and family meetings are available to discuss the future of player development and options for individual players.
